July 31 is missing!
A lot of people started FatWatch this morning and discovered that July 31 is missing from the FatWatch log.  The good news is that this bug is fixed in FatWatch 1.1; the bad news is that FatWatch 1.1 is still sitting in Apple’s review queue.  Nuts! Not being able to enter your weight, which is pretty much the whole purpose of the app, is pretty terrible.  If anybody has purchased the app...

I’ll admit this is kind of petty, but I was using Google Image Search to get some ideas for an icon (i.e., I was looking for inspiration, not for images to steal) when I came across a picture of a scale that looks an awful lot like the icon for another weight tracking iPhone app.  It looks like the exact model is a Taylor #938. If I could simply post an update to FatWatch on a website so that people could update immediately, I’d do it right now, especially to fix the stupid date formatting bug.  Unfortunately, it seems like the iTunes App Store’s review process is going to take a week, so it seems more prudent to batch more changes together and make the release count. It seems like FatWatch ought to have a blog.  I don’t want to deal with installing WordPress or any other hairy blog system; Tumblr suits me just fine.
