FatWatch 1.3 resubmitted
I believe that I have resolved the problems that Apple identified with my previous submission, and so FatWatch 1.3 has been resubmitted to iTunes.
FatWatch 1.3 delayed
After sitting in the review queue for about 15 days, Apple rejected the update. I’d like to tell you more, but I’m not allowed. I’ll post again when the problem is resolved. Thanks for your patience.

I just set this up, I think I like it better than getsatisfaction, which errs on the side of being to complicated.

FatWatch 1.3 submitted for review
I submitted FatWatch 1.3 to the App Store earlier this week. The biggest change you will notice is the chart: the final design is different even from the preview screenshot I posted earlier. It is much better looking and significantly easier to read.

I just checked on the status of the FatWatch 1.2 submission and it has been rejected. Apparently somebody at Apple received one of my messages and intervened, although I have yet to receive any email so I don’t know what worked.
What this means to you, FatWatch user, is that you won’t have to deal with a buggy update, but you will have to wait a little bit longer to get the new...
A preemptive apology
Yesterday I discovered a bug in FatWatch 1.2 which prevents the chart from displaying if you have less than 3 months worth of weight history recorded. This was my mistake: I tested with a large amount of data, since that is usually a good way to find bugs in an application, but I didn’t think to test with a small amount of data.

What are you using check marks and notes for?
On FatWatch’s weigh-in view, below the weight picker wheel, are two controls that allow you to annotate your weight entry for that day. You can set or unset a check and you can write a short note. The check and note appear in the Log view. In the Chart view, if a day is checked, its weight mark is highlighted in yellow.
