What do dashed lines mean?

As of FatWatch 2.1 (released yesterday) you could be referring to:

A dashed line that extends from the trend line with the same color (red or blue) is a projection of the trend into the future. Linear regression is used to determine the straight line that best fits the trend line, then the slope is used to extend it.

If you set a goal, there’s another dashed line extending from the trend line, this time in green. It shows you the path your trend line must take if you want to follow your goal’s plan.

You can compare the projection and the goal lines to quickly see whether or not your weight loss is going according to plan.

In addition, the five-pound band around your goal is also illustrated using two faint dashed lines, above and below. They are dashed so you can tell them apart from the other grid lines.
